We also learnt many different ways to separate constituents of a mixture based on their properties. I had only known of chromatography before but I did not even know about the Retention Factor or anything like that.The experiments for this topic were fun as most of them involved the Bunsen burner and it was nice to obtain the crystals. Also, I think my classmates were busy mixing iodine with water and heating it up etc, before our teacher finally stopped them.
